Mastery in coaching
Mastery in coaching
Mastery in Coaching program is a pathway towards excellence focused on ICF Competencies. It qualifies for 22 CCEs and 7 hours of mentor coaching towards the ICF accreditation journey.
This program is open to Maslow Certified Coaches and to coaches, mentor coaches, corporate trainers and individuals who want to use coaching skills in their role.
The Mastery program is a comprehensive program focused on providing participants with the opportunity to experiment with new approaches in demonstrating and applying Coaching Core Competencies. We support the participants in anchoring and integrating a deeper understanding of the competencies, and will effectively prepare them for ICF ACC, PCC, MCC accreditation and to mentor coaches and/or support leaders. Program participants will have many opportunities to learn about and apply the ICF Coaching Core Competencies. Concepts discussed during training will be sequenced to deepen and accelerate their learning through relevant exercises and practice coaching with feedback. We believe all learning stems from integrating personal experience. Participants are encouraged to be fully present and willing to explore their own experience with the intention of transferring the learning to their own application of the competencies. During training, we invite them to explore how they are feeling, what they are sensing, tap into their inner knowing, integrate their understanding, and create a deeper learning experience. This process allows the participant to set aside previously conditioned responses and open up to new possibilities. .
Mastery in Coaching is taught by Master Certified Coach Diane Bonneau, Director of Supervision and Mentoring at Maslow Centre of Executive Leadership and is designed to help participants learn, practice, integrate and demonstrate the Coaching Core Competencies identified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) including review of the Code of Ethics:
- The exercises, practices and concepts discussed during training are sequenced according to adult education principles to deepen and accelerate learning.
- Eight coaching competencies are explored in segments where we discuss theory, PCC Markers and ICF requirements, observe demonstrations by MCC and PCC coaches, practice the skills, receive feedback on their effectiveness, reflect on what they learned and how they can apply it in their work.
During the course participants actively focus on skills practice. This equips them to mentor and coach with the confidence and credibility that comes from a greater understanding and supervised practice.
