Leadership Coaching

LEADERSHIP COACHing

Whether you head up a team, a department or a company, you have, most likely, already experienced the challenges of being a leader.  The 21st Century presents as many opportunities as it does challenges – if you have the right tools to open the way.  Leadership is the key skill that defines the success of an organization and the new paradigm is becoming a Leader Coach.  Gallup’s most recent book, It’s the Manager, states: “If leaders were to prioritize one action, Gallup recommends that they equip managers to become coaches.” Maslow’s Leadership Coaching programs work with leaders to embrace a coach approach and to understand how and when to use coaching and what type of coaching to use to help their people be their very best.

Our Leadership Coaching Certificate Program is a 2-module, 8-unit course that begins the exciting and enlightening journey towards becoming a professional leadership coach. Participants start by building a strong foundation of Maslowian Coaching, then learning and becoming accountable to the ICF Core Competencies through the Maslow Coaching Funnel©, and finally developing an understanding and proficiency around three important methods within the profession: developmental, performance and skills coaching. A theme of striving to fulfill potential and working towards self-actualization, for both coaches and clients, is present throughout the entire course.

Participants have the option of completing the full Leadership Coaching Program (Modules 1 and 2) or approaching the modules and units in a more a la carte way. Completion of Modules 1 and 2, including all required assignments and other accountabilities associated with anchoring the learning, will result in becoming a Maslow Certified Leadership Coach (MCLC).
